Providing Freeware downloads in exchange for the user's email address is an excellent opt-in subscriber list builder. Freeware is also used as a viral marketing tool. Internet marketing is extremely time-consuming. Even fully automated websites require a lot of the marketers time and attention. For example, look over the emails you receive then try composing one yourself and you'll agree there is no such thing as working 30 minutes a day for anyone except the very experienced and successful marketer (claims of working 30 minutes a day should be taken lightly).

Composing an effective email is the last bit of work in a long list of projects that include: researching what people are looking for, creating or finding the right product, obtaining a merchant account (or using an online merchant service provider), building a search engine optimized website, creating images for that website, writing an effective sales message, signing up with a server and an auto-responder service and uploading your new website.

Two very useful Freeware products:

WebFerret allows you to search multiple sites simultaneously from your desktop. Except for using a plain text editor such as notepad Frontpage2000 Tutor will teach you how to use Microsoft's webpage builder--Frontpage2000--which is included in its Office Suite. Make use of the following Freeware applications and ebooks to cut your workload.
